YOU be a little bit of heaven
You know you can
you be a litttle bit of heaven
To your fellow man
YOU BE A LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN
by Imogene(Jean) Owita Lewis

YOU be a little bit of heaven
You know you can
YOU be a little bit of heaven
To your fellow man

Nobody's coming to see me
Nobody's knocking on my door
Nobody's calling me on the telephone
And, the LORD said it just once more

YOU be a little bit of heaven
You know you can
YOU be a little bit of heaven
To your fellow man

Nobody gives 'a holler'
When they see me out
Nobody's bringing me roses
Nobody's offering me a ride
To go shopping with them
Ooooops!
And I remembered
these words from ... HIM!

YOU be a little bit of heaven
You know you can
YOU be a little bit of heaven
To your fellow man

YOU be a little bit of heaven
Somebody needs a friend
YOU be a little bit of heaven
To your neighbor lend a hand

YOU be a litle bit of heaven!

FOR GOD'S BLESSINGS
TO BEGIN!

Mother-in-law, they say and yet
Somehow I simply can't forget
'Twas you who watched his baby ways
Who taught him his first hymn of praise;
Who smiled on him with living pride
When he first toddled by your side

( first verse of a poem that my daughter-in-law,
Ginger, gave me on the day my son, Stevie & her
were married )
