I LOVE YOU LORD
I love you, Lord.
For you, I write my poems
To worship you.
I feel no alarm.
Take Joy Dear Lord
In ALL my life down here.
May the Poetry help others
TO YOU draw near.

Today has been very WINDY and COLD ~ and ~ this was mostly a stay
in the house day for me ~ but the weather report for tomorrow is better and warmer.
I did make a pound cake ~ and watched two movies with C W ~ and did a lot
of HOUSEWORK in the kitchen. All of the coming week is supposed to be like Spring ~
with the temps in the 60's! Hooray!

I'll end this page with the words to a Hymn I like.

THE SHELTERING ROCK
There is a Rock in a weary land
It's shadow falls on the burning sand
Inviting pilgrims as they pass
To seek a shade in the wilderness
Oh, why will ye die?
Oh, why will ye die?
When the sheltering Rock is so near by
Oh, why will ye die?
There is a well in a desert plain
It's waters call with entreating strain
"Ho, every thirsty sin-sick soul
Come, freely drink and thou shalt be whole."
Oh why will ye die?
Oh, why will ye die?
When the living well is so near by
Oh, why will ye die?
A great fold stands with it's portals wide
The sheep astray on the mountain side
The Shepherd climbs o'er mountains steep
He's searching now for His wandering sheep.
Oh, why will ye die?
Oh, why will ye die?
When the Shepherd's fold is so near by
Oh, why will ye die?
There is a cross where the Saviour died
His blood flowed out in a crimson tide
A sacrifice for sinful men
and free to all who will enter in
Then why will ye die?
Oh, why will ye die?
When the crimson cross is so nearby
Oh, why will ye die?
